So far today I saw two different people with surgical masks on in the street. Is this normal?

or are people in my city just a little crazy? how's the crazy factor in your hometown? So far today I saw two different people with surgical masks on in the street. Is this normal?
OOOH do you remember SARS??? I hear it's making a comeback...So far today I saw two different people with surgical masks on in the street. Is this normal?
You might want to go home and check your local news. LOL.
Is there a bad flu bug going around? You see that in big cities sometimes and overseas in Japan and China and places like that. Bird flu is big over there, though.
cool, there will be zombies roaming the streets soon
I wear mine on the *back* of my head.

Just to mix it up a little.
Lmao!

Trying to avoid this sickness bug thats going around maybe?
pretty crazy. do you live in LA? maybe it's for the smog. my grandpa has to wear them outside

I live in a college town, nuts is normal
CRAZY factor in the Big Easy right now? Off the chizzarts.

We've been nutcases since september and will continue to be through MardiGras/Easter
is that SARS back again...damn mentals
Maybe it's Michael Jackson day and you didn't get the memo.
I would say that is only normal at the hospital or at Neverland Ranch.
Don't think thats very normal....they need some help if they haven't already tried to get some!

people in my hometown....super crazy and weird sounds like something they would do

people where i live now....pretty normal! Thank goodness
some people in your city are just a little crazy
They may have a lung problem, or have a immunity problem. I see people from time to time where I ;live wearing them.
More and more people are doing that in the hopes of not catching a cold or the flu.
do you live near a hospital?
You must live in psychoville.
perhaps they are germaphobes....i am... i certainly dont want to catch that nasty stomach virus goin around...although i dont go around wearing a sugical mask...
No ... I think what was going on was that today is day three of the practical exam for Operating Room Personnel. So I think they wanted either to stay in character out in the street or were attempting to influence people with the notion that they were already a doctor or nurse.
I love that.
They may have an immune system deficiency, or were told by their doctor not to breathe cold air, or could be a transplant patient. There are many situations that require the wearing of respiratory masks in public places. The aren't necessarily crazy, but they could be germaphobes too.
What's wrong with wearing sandals with socks? I do that? I don't want my feet dirty
OMG it's sars. I hope you haven't been breathing a lot lately.
well yesterday i saw two people smoking crack pipes in the park across the street.
It means they are contaminated and either they don't want to pass their germs to you.....or they don't want to get yours because their immune system is low.
well I saw a guy in a hot dog costume run by my office the other day....don't know what the hell was going on with that

they could have something that they are trying not to *spread* to other people....it could be a good thing
