Often time SWAT teams work hand in hand with special detachments such as narcotics agents. These agents are participating in the raid to ensure their investigation pans out but they may not wished to be identified for safety reasons. Additionally many officers realize drug users are repeat offenders and they may be seeing them again sooner than later.What does it mean when the swat team is with another team wearing blue gloves with dark black ski-mask?

they are obsivoulsly checking for chemicals or d.n.a. do you ever watch c.s.i.
mor ethan likely the swat team was there to clear the house for the search warrant. and after that, or behind the swaqt team, came the the other guys which were probably narcotics officers. the masks were to protect their identity because they probly work undercover and dont wanna be recognized. the blue gloves were just another color of latex gloves ( they come in all colors) the gloves are used so they dont contaminante anything with their fingerprints, alos in case they have to handle any narcotics or precursors, so they dont get any residue on their hands and ingest it later.
It definately means you should let the hostages go and surrender yourself peacably

The other team is a special ops team of one kind or another. If there are no markings whatsover on them, then they may even be a federal agency involved in the takedown.
