Would you wear a surgical mask to gard against the flu when flying?

Not so much a mask, but I would recommend using Saline Nasal Spray. The saline will keep your sinuses ';disinfected';.

Also, keep your hand sanitizer (travel size of course) in your pocket for easy access. Pass on the travel pillow and blanket too! They harbor all kinds of nasty germs. And don't forget to wash your hands!Would you wear a surgical mask to gard against the flu when flying?
No. Just take one of those cold resister over the counter pills with echinacea.

yes. If you observe people having a bad flu. You can wear a mask and face away from the person to lower your risk of contracting flu.

i understand that when u are flying, it is in an air-conditioned plane, hence a mask would be needed if e plane has people around u with flu.
I wouldn't.

I do take plenty of vitamins (with an antioxidant supplement), eat healthy and get a good nights rest before flying. Which help boost your ability to fight off the flu.
NO, I would take plenty of vit c and hydrate myself, eat right, and get plenty of sleep to keep my immune system optimal.
That would be effective. I wouldn't, because they are not especially comfortable, but it would help.
