Per his interviews, Speaker has never claimed that the doctors told him he was not contagious. He claims they said he is not HIGHLY contagious. TB is contagious, period. Some strains are more contagious than others as well as some strains, like the strain Speaker has, are more resistant to treatment which makes it more dangerous to contract even if it is less contagious. His actions, in light of knowing he was contagious, are unconscionable.
A person who contracts TB does not become contagious after 2-4 weeks from the start of treatment. That is, if the person takes his medicines very regularly.





So the wearing of the mask by his wife is mere exaggeration. She was not told that she had been exposed to her husband even before he was diagnosed. She is his wife and torrid kissing is part of good sex. If she had even 1 sexual encounter with him, she wld definitely get the disease. Its funny that she now wears the mask to avoid being infected. I am also sure that before the husband went to see a doctor, he already had signs and symptoms of TB and therefore, the wife had been long exposed to him. The only factor that prevented her from getting the disease was her immune system was effective enough to destroy whatever bacteria she got from him.
