What can be used instead of a surgical mask? (yes, a swine flu question)?

I'm 32 weeks pregnant, and extremely paranoid and worried.

Is there something I can use instead of a surgical mask to protect myself? I know the s/mask is the best option, but they have sold out everywhere, and I have an antenatal appointment today at the hospital :sWhat can be used instead of a surgical mask? (yes, a swine flu question)?

The New Silver Solution has been shown to destroy viruses in the same classification as Swine Flu. The liquid was shown to help prevent H5N1 Influenza when swallowed twice daily. The New Silver Solution gel has been shown to disinfect topically and keep hands completely sanitized for 4 hours.

read this e alert about swine flu http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/?p=2581
You can make your own flu mask, or order online (which will get you a mask soon but not today). Here's an article that tells how to make your own flu mask. Click on the photo in the middle of the article for an enlarged view of what the mask should look like.

it is better to use surgical mask, or any kind of flu mask. because it is specialized for virus protection. since the virus size is very small than dust so wearing a cloth is useless. i have bought one from here http://astore.amazon.com/swine-flu-masks-20?_encoding=UTF8%26amp;node=5
